The Seeds of a Bagel Dream
Jacquie's love for bagels began during childhood summers at the Jersey shore, where she discovered a world beyond the local Mechanicsburg offerings. In 2006, she met Steve, a northern New Jersey native with roots in New York and the restaurant business. Their shared passion for food, especially bagels, blossomed into a dream of owning their bagel shop.
After completing their education and getting married, Steve and Jacquie moved to Mechanicsburg to start their family and their first restaurant in 2010. Since then, they've successfully operated multiple restaurants in the area and Baltimore, always keeping their bagel dream alive.
Bringing New York to Mechanicsburg
Bagel Boutique is the culmination of years of passion and experience. We bring authentic New York bagels to central Pennsylvania by receiving fresh dough from New York weekly, then proofing, boiling, and baking on-site. Our commitment to quality extends beyond just bagels – we've crafted a menu that caters to all tastes and cravings.
At Bagel Boutique, you'll find an array of unique cream cheese spreads (affectionately called "schmears"), mouth-watering sandwiches, and crisp salads. To complement your meal, we offer a selection of trendy drinks, including artisanal lattes, refreshing smoothies, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. We take pride in creating fresh and delicious recipes inspired by our travels and big-city living, bringing creative ideas back to our beloved community in central Pennsylvania.
